Vector Corp. will change name Freund-Vector

Since January of 1998 Vector Corporation of Marion has been operating as a subsidiary company of the Freund Corporation of Tokyo, Japan. Freund Corporation has decided to change the name of Vector Corporation to Freund-Vector Corporation effective January 1, 2012.

This change in our name was done to capitalize on the benefits of both company names, Freund Corporation and Vector Corporation. Combined the two companies have over 5,000 equipment installations, 400 patents and $150 million in annual sales.

Both companies have been selling equipment for more than 40 years.

There has been no change in the company personnel or range of services as a result of this company name change.

"We will be providing the same quality solid dosage granulation and coating equipment along with our excellent customer service, on which we have built our reputation in the industry," the company said in a prepared statement. "We will continue to serve the markets of North, Central and South America and Europe, while Freund will continue to serve the Asian markets."
