NEW HIRES
Bankers Trust hired Holly Zimmerman (see photo) as vice president, Treasury Services officer.
Central State Bank of Muscatine, with an office also in Coralville at Freedom Security Bank, hired Bart Schouweiler (see photo) as commercial ag lender. He will work out of both locations.
The Dupaco Community Credit Union board of directors hired David Andrew (see photo) as financial consultant forDupaco Financial Services at its Williams Boulevard SW branch in Cedar Rapids.
Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, hired James Matsuda (see photo) as pediatric hospitalist and medical director of pediatrics. He was previously director of St. Luke's Pediatric Hospitalist Program and the Pediatric ICU.
RuffaloCODY in Cedar Rapids hired Ken DeKock (see photo) as chief financial officer.
The City of Marion hired Steve Cooper as stormwater coordinator for the engineering department. He previously served as infrastructure management specialist for the City of Cedar Rapids.

Capri College has been nominated for four national awards in the Modern Salon Excellence in Education Program.
Builder's Choice and Custom Home honored Neumann Monson Architects, Iowa City, with a national award for the design of a private residence. The home, built by Smith & Wood Construction, is featured in the October issue of Builder and the winter issue of Custom Home.
Linn County Conservation accepted two awards at the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials conference in Houston. The awards were for the Wickiup Hill Learning Center Building Expansion and the Cedar River Watershed Education Project.
The Linn County Home Health Protective and Voluntary program was awarded the Iowa Family Support Credential from the Iowa Department of Management and Public Health. The program is only the 29th Iowa program to earn the distinction.
West Bank, based in West Des Moines with offices in Iowa City and Coralville, was named to the 2013 SM-All Star List by Sandler O'Neill & Partners for the second consecutive year.
