Rockwell Collins unveils 2 products for training and simulation market

Rockwell Collins introduced two new products on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at a major international simulation, training and modeling conference in Orlando.
The Panorama Glass Front Projection display was introduced by Rockwell Collins at the I/ITSEC 2011 conference. When coupled with the company's EP 8000 Image Generator, it provides more visual scene content and display performance than previously available, the company said.
Rockwell Collins introduced a new image generator, the EP-80, at the same conference. The EP-80 provides cost advantages by adapting commercial off-the-shelf personal computer and graphics technologies to the training and simulation market, according to a Rockwell Collins statement.
