Reception set for Kirkwood Community College

New hires

The East Central Intergovernmental Association has hired Lori McKinley (see photo) as manager of Transit-RTA. McKinley has worked in ECIA's Promise Jobs programs at IowaWorks for more than 10 years.

Peg Walters (see photo) joined the Skywalk Group in Cedar Rapids as client consultant. Walters is a graduate of Mount Mercy University.

Steve Crane (see photo) joined Corridor State Bank in Coralville as market president. Crane was formerly with First American Bank.

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation announced two new additions to its staff. Kaitlin Oswood (see photo) joined the organization as Endow Iowa Program assistant. Bernadette Gladish (see photo) joined as program assistant.

Dan Dahlgren (see photo) joined Septagon Construction in its Cedar Rapids office as project coordinator. Dahlgren has been in the construction industry since 1998.

Brad Hubler (see photo) was named personal and commercial lines agent with Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance Agency in Marion. Hubler was previously with Bouslog Insurance Agency.

The Iowa Fraternal Alliance named Bruce Maurer (see photo) of Iowa City as president.

Certifications

Luke Brady (see photo), loan officer for Community Savings Bank in Edgewood, has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

Kudos

For a second year in a row, Clickstop has been named to Internet Retailer's list of top e-commerce retailers, the 2012 Second 500 Guide. The Urbana, Iowa-based retailer ranked 568 in the 2012 edition, up from a spot at 620 the previous year.

Kirkwood Community College will hold a reception for registered adults who are returning to college or starting for the first time.
