Panera now delivers in Cedar Rapids

Some Cedar Rapids diners now can get their Panera Bread fix delivered to their door.

Four Panera locations in Eastern Iowa now offer the restaurant chain's delivery service, the company said this week.

The locations include:

' Cedar Rapids, 2665 Edgewood Rd. SW.

' Cedar Rapids, 5010 Council St. NE.

' Coralville, 213 First Ave.

' Waterloo, 1818 La Porte R.

St. Louis-based Panera began the delivery option in 2015 and plans to have it nationwide by 2018. The company already has rolled it out at locations in Ames and the Des Moines area.

Delivery service will be available to homes or businesses within an eight-minute drive of a restaurant, and between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day.

Orders must be at least $5, and a $3 delivery service fee is charged with each order.
