Northeast Iowa Dairy Foundation meeting set

The annual meeting of the Northeast Iowa Dairy Foundation will be held on Wednesday , March 14, 2012 at the Dairy Center, Calmar. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m.

The events for the day, starting at 11 a.m., include a presentation by Julia Ridpath, NADC Microbiologist, presenting “Managing the Risk of BVD in Dairy Operations,” and Larry Shover, Iowa State Dairy Association President, and Kent Lehs, Midwest Dairy Association, will discuss “Dairy Iowa”.

There will be a noon meal, followed by the annual meeting including the election of officers at 1:15 p.m. In addition, there will be displays from leading dairy industry businesses that support the Dairy Foundation.

There is no cost for foundation members to attend the annual meeting.
