A new product introduced by Rockwell Collins on Monday allows aircraft passengers wirelessly stream iTunes music from a airborne media library.
The Skybox, with one terabyte of onboard storage, gives each passenger the ability to play any content stored in the system's library on up to 10 Apple iOS devices. Passengers can also stream movies, photos or business documents from their devices to cabin displays.
Dassault Falcon Jet plans to be the first to offer the Skybox. It will be offered on Falcons equipped with FalconCabin HD+, which currently include the Falcon 7X, Falcon 900LX and Falcon 2000LX+.
