New general manager named for KGAN

CEDAR RAPIDS - The general manager of a Wisconsin television station also will serve in the same capacity with KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids.
Sinclair Broadcasting on Monday said Kerry Johnson, general manager of WMSN-TV in Madison, Wis., also will oversee sales and other non-programming related services of KFXA-TV in Cedar Rapids. WMSN-TV and KFXA-TV are Fox network affiliates.
Johnson, who has been general manager of WMSN-TV since 2005, has more than a decade of experience in television sales. He succeeds Peter Paisley as general manger of KGAN-TV, a CBS network affiliate.
