A Coralville medical billing company plans to hire 50 to 60 people for full-time employment over the next 60 days.
MediRevv, a health care revenue cycle management company, said Tuesday that increased client demand and the near completion of the company's new building is prompting the immediate need to add staff.
Brad Baldwin, MediRevv vice president of operations, said the company has consistently added to its workforce in recent months and expects its second facility in Coralville to be completed in the coming weeks.
'We've had a lot of success hiring skilled workers from our Creative Corridor community in the past, and we hope to continue this trend with our current hiring need,” Baldwin said.
MediRevv's steady level of growth in recent years has not gone unnoticed. Most recently, MediRevv was named the 'Top Growth Company” at the 2014 Prometheus Awards, presented by the Technology Association of Iowa.
MediRevv expects to be named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's Fastest Growing Companies in 2014 as it was in 2013 and 2012.
MediRevv provides revenue cycle management and cash flow services to hospitals and medical centers. In October, the company broke ground for a $3.2 million, 26,200-square-foot, two-story building at 2600 University Pkwy.
The project received $150,000 in state tax credits through Iowa's High Quality Jobs Program and the Coralville City Council approved a $698,000 forgivable loan.
MediRevv broke ground on its $2.4 million, 18,000-square-foot headquarters in March 2012.
