M.C. Ginsberg makes 'Coolest Big Jewelry Stores' list

M.C. Ginsberg Objects of Art in Iowa City received second place in a leading jewelry trade journal's ranking of the 'coolest big jewelry stores.'

The trade magazine INSTORE recently released its 10th annual rankings.

Stores are judged in exterior appearance, interior appearance, store biography, advertising, website and overall individuality.

“Defying conventional rules, M.C. Ginsberg hides merchandise in a series of drawers and encourages customers to explore and seek out their own objects of art," contest judge Miho Koshido noted in his remarks. "The entire store appears to be the objects of art ... . It is truly a unique sensory experience. Their involvement in local community is also exemplary.”

The top five winners in the two divisions are given trophies and featured in the August issue of INSTORE and at instoremag.com.
