Iowa Women Lead Charge, started a dozen years ago in Coralville to help female leaders, announced it has changed its name to mark its continued expansion outside the state.
Changing its name to Women Lead Change, CEO Tiffany O'Donnell said at a news conference Thursday, 'allows us to continue to offer world-class programming throughout the state of Iowa, but also reach beyond the borders as we continue to work to advance, develop and promote women, their organizations and to impact the regional economy.”
The 501(c)3 not-for-profit's reach extends to Illinois, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin, O'Donnell noted in a news release.
Among its ongoing programs, O'Donnell said Women Lead change would launch its first Ascent Leadership Program this month and hold its Women of Achievement Awards in June.
