Kinze Manufacturing Inc. has introduced a new planter for sugarbeets, the company announced Monday, April 9.
The Williamsburg-based company said its 24-row 3700 sugarbeet planter will be available with bulk fill seed hoppers or conventional hoppers.
Kinze vice president and chief marketing officer Susanne Kinzenbaw Veatch said the planter offers the ability to singulate pelletized sugarbeet seed with up to 99.1 percent accuracy using Kinze's EdgeVac vacuum meter.
Features include a 300-gallon fertilizer tank to allow farmers to apply low-rate or pop-up fertilizer without the need for a tractor-mounted or tow-behind tank.
