Kelly Lamb named Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity executive director

Kelly Lamb joined Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity as its new executive director Monday.
Lamb's previous work with not-for-profit organizations included managing the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Iowa City, Habitat announced Sunday.
Lamb, a University of Michigan graduate, has a background volunteering through Habitat, her church and food banks.
Jeff Capps, Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity's previous executive director for more than a decade, announced in January he would leave to become executive director for the Iowa Children's Museum in Coralville.
Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity built, rehabilitated and repaired homes for 346 families locally and internationally since it was founded in 1988, according to its website.
