Jos. A Bank to open in the Iowa River Landing

Jos. A Bank is expected to open in the Iowa River Landing in Coralville in spring or early summer 2014. The national men's clothing retailer will occupy a 4,000-square-foot space across from the Homewood Suites by Hilton.

Deanna Trumbull, president of Trumbull Consulting and a retail and real estate consultant for Coralville, said the company saw the Coralville area as an ideal location with the nearby Von Maur department store, to open July 27.

“They were looking for a store in the Eastern Iowa area and they really liked the Iowa River Landing and it's proximity to the interstate,” Trumbull said.

The move is a part of the company's goal to expand the chain to 800 stores throughout the United States, according to an Iowa River Landing press release. The company now has more than 600 stores in 44 states.
