IowaWorks and 6th Judicial District hosting job fair in Cedar Rapids for job seekers with criminal records
Corridor employers and job seekers with criminal backgrounds will have an opportunity to connect next week.
IowaWorks and the state's 6th Judicial District will host a Second Chance job fair 4:15 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the district's administrative offices, in the Faches Center, Linn County Correctional Services, 951 29th Ave. SW, in Cedar Rapids.
Employers can register to attend the free event at https://bit.ly/2Gq4LiH.
Organizers anticipate more than 75 job seekers will attend.
