Iowa Transportation Commission Approves Corridor Airport Funding
The Iowa Transportation Commission approved $5.9 million for the fiscal year 2014 State Aviation Program, which includes more than $610,000 for Iowa's Creative Corridor.
In Cedar Rapids, $70,000 in funding will support pavement maintenance, and another $300,000 is earmarked for roof repair. For Iowa City, projects include pavement maintenance, installation of taxiway lighting and a rehabilitation of the south taxiway. Iowa City will receive almost $241,000.
