Iowa City bookstore finds new home at Sycamore Mall
After receiving a 30-day notice to move, Defunct Books, 521 E. Washington, has secured a spot at the Sycamore Mall.
According to a news release, the store will take over a 2,500-square foot space at the mall, located at 1660 Sycamore St. The bookstore, which opened in Iowa City in 2007, will continue operating on Washington St. until Jan. 25, and will open at the new location Feb. 1.
