Iowa business filing fees reduced

The Iowa Secretary of State’s Office said it would reduce business filing fees starting Friday.
The Uniform Commercial Code fees will be reduced 50 percent and the price tag for the Biennial Report, for most applications, will gone down by $15, the office said in a news release Thursday.
A five-year systems upgrade Technology Modernization Fund has expired, the release said, allowing for the decrease in fees.
