I wireless picks ex-Sprint exec as CEO
Craven Shumaker, a former regional president for Sprint, has been appointed chief executive officer and president of Urbandale-based i wireless.
Iowa Wireless Services LLC, doing business as i wireless, is a partnership between T-Mobile USA and Iowa Network Services, a consortium of 127 independent telecommunicatons companies.
Shumaker brings more than 20 years of telecommunications leadership experience at Nextel and Sprint, including Sprint's north regional president with oversight of 13 states and 13 million customers.
He most recently was senior executive at Manage Mobility, a reseller for Sprint.
