Hy-Vee buys 17 Shopko pharmacies
West Des Moines-based Hy-Vee has purchased 22 Shopko pharmacies in 17 cities, in Iowa and five other states, it announced Friday.
Hy-Vee Pharmacy will begin filling prescriptions in Glenwood, Mason City and Sioux City on Jan. 23.
The other venues are in Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
All affected Shopko customers will receive a letter from Hy-Vee Pharmacy with further details.
