Heartland Express honored by Logistics Management magazine

Heartland Express Inc. has earned Logistics Management magazine's Quest for Quality award for the 9th consecutive year.

The award is based on a vote by the shipping community and readers of Logistics Management magazine for the carriers who they feel "have best delivered on quality service in specific niches" according to the magazine.

Heartland Express was among the top quality service providers in the Dry Freight Truckload Carrier division.

Along with an overall aggregate score, Heartland received high marks in all 5 categories scored. Those categories are on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations.

 "The drivers, office, and shop employees deserve all the recognition for this Quest for Quality award," Heartland Express CEO Michael Gerdin said in a statement released Wednesday, Sept. 7. " We would like to thank all of our customers and the shipping community for their continued support."
