HACAP Food Reservoir announces staff changes

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP) has announced two staff changes.
Robert Untiedt, former executive director of the Linn County Non-Profit Resource Center, has been namd as food reservoir director. Prior to joining the Linn County Non-Profit Resource Center, Untiedt was executive director at Hollywood Interfaith in Los Angeles, Calif., and a community organizer for the San Francisco (Calif.) Organizing Project.
Jennifer Schulte, formerly external relations coordinator, has been promoted to food reservoir operations supervisor at HACAP. Schulte was previously a loan executive at United Way of East Central Iowa, where she assisted with completion of the organization's annual campaigns in 2007 and 2008.
HACAP Food Reservoir provides food and grocery products as well as hunger education to over 100 non-profit organizations that assist hungry individuals in need of food assistance.
Last year, the HACAP Food Reservoir distributed 2 million pounds of food within a seven county service area in East Central Iowa though Operation BackPack, HACAP service centers, local churches and other organizations.
