New hires

GreatAmerica Leasing of Cedar Rapids has hired nine people. Mea Hernandez (see photo), previously with the University of Wisconsin Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies, is a technical support dispatcher. Dave Airy (see photo), previously with Information Technology Solutions, is a technical sales engineer. Andrea Persaud (see photo), who had been with Marsh U.S., is an internal auditor. Derek Sellnau (see photo), a recent graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, is a programmer analyst. Lora Reznikov (see photo), formerly with Olmstead Construction, is a documentation specialist. Zach Heisler (see photo), an Iowa State University graduate, is a credit analyst.

Maurices in Cedar Rapids named Jamie Willman store manager.

Todd Barker joined the Seifert Trovas Group in the Merrill Lynch Cedar Rapids office. Barker joined Merrill Lynch in 2011.

Kim Greiner (see photo) joined the staff of Entrepreneurial Services Group in Cedar Rapids as a chief financial officer/controller on-call.

Brad Candullo was hired by RecBob in Cedar Rapids as senior web designer and pixel pitcher. Candullo previously worked as a freelance web developer in New York.

The Tama and Iowa County Community Foundations has hired Allen Ricks as outreach coordinator. Most recently he served as regional extension education director for Iowa State University Extension for six counties in northeast Iowa.

Lisa Stephenson joined Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman in Cedar Rapids. She will work primarily in employment law and labor and commercial litigation.

Susan Corrigan (see photo) started with St. Martin Land Co. in Cedar Rapids as chief operating officer. Corrigan had been a controller for Transamerica.

Promotions

Meghan Reutzel (see photo) has been promoted to marketing manager at Infinity Contact. She was formerly marketing coordinator.

Trent Phillips (see photo) was promoted to art director at ME&V. He joined ME&V as a graphic designer in 2011.

Raymond Turano (see photo) and Dan Dietiker (see photo) each were promoted to correctional supervisor 1 at the Anamosa State Penitentiary.

Appointments

Scott Schroeder (see photo) of Schroeder & Associates Insurance Agency in Mechanicsville has been selected to join the Agent Advisory Council for KHI Financial Solutions of Fort Dodge.

Awards

The Heritage Agency's Outstanding Senior Volunteer award winners by county included Linda Long of Belle Plaine, Shirley Geadelmann of Clarence, Richard Jacoby of Victor, Marilyn and Richard Jensen of Coralville, Jackie Vacek of Olin, John McDonough of Cedar Rapids and Leroy Powell of Wellman. Johnson County Livable Community for Successful Aging's Communication Committee received the Program/Project: Service to Seniors award, Sheriff Robert Rotter of Iowa County received the award for Outstanding Public Official, the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Johnson County won the Outstanding Initiatives in Aging award, the Advocate of the Year award went to Robert Welsh of Iowa City and the Outstanding Senior Volunteer in Area 10 was awarded to Richard Jacoby of Victor.

The American Water Works Association recognized Mark Duben with a George Warren Fuller Award. Duben is vice president and senior project manager for HR Green Inc.

CEC, a technology and systems integrator with locations in Iowa, was recognized by UBM Channel as a part of CRN's 2012 Solution Provider 500 list. It placed No. 428 in the annual ranking.

Saddle Up for St. Jude an Eastern Iowa horse show club received special recognition from St. Jude's Children's Hospital for its benefit horse show.

Certifications

ATS Automotive in Cedar Rapids was named an Approved Auto Repair facility by AAA.
