Goodwill elects new slate of officers

IOWA CITY -- Four Corridor business executives have been elected officers of the board of directors of Goodwill of the Heartland.

Terri Davis. senior vice president of Shuttleworth & Ingersoll PLC in Cedar Rapids was elected chairwoman, and Elizabeth Hladky Schott, community relations director for SourceMedia Group in Cedar Rapids, was elected vice chairwoman,

David Bywater, president and chief executive officer of Tru Art in Iowa City, was elected treasurer, and Ken Urmie, vice president and cashier at MidWestOne Bank in Iowa City, was elected secretary.

Iowa City-based Goodwill of the Heartland provides job training, vocational rehabilitation services and work experience to individuals with barriers to independence. Funded in part by 13 Goodwill Stores in southeastern Iowa and the Quad Cities, the organization served more than 3,500 individuals and families in 2010.
