SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Web hosting provider Go Daddy has acquired Mount View, Calif.-based Outright, a supplier of cloud-based financial management applications.
Outright CEO Steven Aldrich will join go Go Daddy as senior vice president of applications. The company's other staff, including co-founder Ben Curren, are also joining Go Daddy.
The acquisition is part of an expansion charted when KKR, Silver Lake and Technology Crossover Ventures made a major investment in Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Go Daddy in late 2011.
Go Daddy has a customer contact center in Hiawatha.
"This is a great fit for our customer base," Go Daddy CEO Warren Adelman said in prepared remarks. He said the company's Outright.com site has easy-to-use software that streamlines the work of running a startup or small business.
