The Association of Fundraising Professionals has published two white papers written by Dee Vandeventer, partner, and Justin Tolan, chief fundraising adviser of ME&V.
The papers, “Resilience Plays Remarkable Role in Fundraising Campaigns” and “Technological Advances Impact Fundraising Strategies,” are published on the “Information Exchange” on the AFP website. Vandeventer and Tolan now have six papers published by AFP.
The first paper emphasizes resiliency as a necessary skill for fundraisers. It includes traits of resilient individuals and organizations. The paper concludes with ideas on how to build a support network for resilience.
The second paper focuses on the rise in technological advances and the ways in which they impact fundraising. Examples include mobile giving, tags, digital video and kiosks. Members of AFP can view “Resilience Plays Remarkable Role in Fundraising Campaigns” and “Technological Advances Impact Fundraising Strategies” at www.afpnet.org.
