EntreFest returns to Iowa City in May

IOWA CITY - EntreFest, billed as Iowa's largest entrepreneurial conference, has been set for May 4 and 5 at several locations in Iowa City.
The event is expected to attract more than 1,000, including business owners, start-up founders, corporate innovators, students and innovation ecosystem builders, according to a news release from the co-presenters, Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance and the New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative or NewBoCo.
The conference is to feature national keynote speakers, breakout sessions and workshops from experts in a variety of fields and disciplines. The lineup has not yet been announced.
EntreFest 2015 featured author Seth Godin, Dwolla CEO Ben Milne and Finnegans CEO Jacquie Berglund, among others. EntreFest was not held in 2016.
Event locations include the Sheraton Hotel, Englert Theatre, FilmScene, MidWestOne Bank and Merge. Tickets and more information are available at entrefest.com.
Conference sponsors include the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, the UI Office of Outreach and Engagement, Iowa Farm Bureau, the city of Iowa City and the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers.
