Andrew Hadland has been appointed president of CRST International's Specialized Transportation Inc. business.
Hadland was hired in February as chief operating officer of Specialized Transportation Inc., and successor to Ian Nicholson, who will retire as president at the end of July.
Hadland was previously senior vice president and general manager of the $700 million Managed Transportation business at Excel, a contract logistics provider, where he served in a variety of management roles. He previously spent eight years with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and London. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and management from City University, London, as well as an MBA from Imperial College, London.
“Andrew's broad experience in business analysis and strategy, client development and supply chain logistics will be a great asset to STI and the entire CRST International family of companies,” said CRST president and CEO Dave Rusch in prepared remarks. “His expertise precisely fits our goals of increasing diversification of services while growing revenues in a debt-free corporate environment.”
CRST International is the sixth largest truckload carrier in the United States.
