CEDAR RAPIDS -- CRST International has named Scott Pruneau president of CRST Logistics, the division of the Cedar Rapids-based company that provides transportation brokerage services and freight management.
Pruneau, previously vice president of brokerage services at CRST Logistics, has more than 17 years of experience in the transportation and supply chain industry. Before joining CRST Logistics, he held several roles of progressive leadership responsibility at Knight Transportation and CH Robinson Worldwide.
Dave Rusch, president and chief executive officer of CRST International, said Pruneau's extensive experience in the industry, both on the truckload and brokerage side, made him a natural choice for president of CRST Logistics.
"Management development has been a priority for CRST International," Rusch said. "Scott is a great example of the type of individual we want to lead CRST Logistics into the future."
CRST International, one of the largest privately-held transportation companies in the country, is the sixth largest truckload carrier in the United States. The company was ranked 19th on the 2011 InformationWeek 500, a list of the top technology innovators in the United States.
