CRST honored as information technology innovator

CRST International ranked 19th on the 2011 InformationWeek 500 list of top technology innovators in the United States.

The Cedar Rapids-based transportation company was the highest-ranked Iowa company on the list, and appeared in the InformationWeek 500 for the fourth consecutive year.

"Being ranked in the top 20 with some of the country's most innovative companies is quite humbling CRST International president and CEO Dave Rusch said in a statement released Tuesday, Sept. 20. He said technology plays a pivotal role in CRST's business by ensuring the tools and resources are in place to be safe, efficient and provide outstanding service.

The list was released at the InformationWeek 500 conference awards ceremony this week in Dana Point, Calif.
