New hires
Urbana-based Clickstop announced three new employees: Sara Wilkins joined as a finance associate, Marcia Petsche as a customer service specialist and Scott Keeling as a warehouse associate in the U.S. Cargo Control division at the company's Blue Creek Drive location.
Carrie Traetow (see photo) joined ME&V as national health-care account executive. Traetow was previously vice president of Bickford Senior Living.
Altorfer Inc. in Cedar Rapids announced two new employees for Eastern Iowa: Sean Nelson (see photo) joined as a construction machine sales representative and Greg Thomas (see photo) as ag sales representative for Eastern Iowa.
GreatAmerica Leasing of Cedar Rapids announced three staff additions: John Buzynski (see photo) as a credit analyst, Joanna Nabeta (see photo) as a vendor relationship manager and Sara Konrad (see photo) as a sales support specialist.
Promotions
Clickstop in Urbana created a new position for Jim Mayhew, who was promoted to vice president, mission and culture. Mayhew had held the title of content team lead.
Corey Ruehle (see photo) accepted the position of branch manager for United Fire Group Inc.'s Midwest region. Ruehle was the Midwest region's underwriting manager.

Cheryl Hennings (see photo), director of nursing of CarePro Home Health, was elected to the Iowa Alliance in Home Care board of directors.
Awards
The American Water Works Association (AWWA) recognized Mark Duben with a George Warren Fuller Award. Duben is vice president and senior project manager for HR Green Inc. in Cedar Rapids.
Jeff Wickwire of Belle Plaine won first place in the Iowa Truck Driving Championships for the tanker truck category, which qualifies him to compete in the National Truck Driving Championship in August in Minneapolis, Minn.
Carol Meisgeier of Manchester has reached the President's Team level as an independent distributor for Herbalife, the nutrition direct-sales companies.
The Radio Technical Commission of Aeronatics presented Robert Erlandson, an engineering consultant in Marion, with an Outstanding Leadership Award. The award recognized his role in leading the development of an important radio frequency interference assessment report regarding aviation use of the principal Global Positioning System signal.
Business Awards
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids & East Central Iowa received the highest honor and recognition within the organization of being named both Small Market Agency and Board of the Year.
Honkamp Krueger & Co., with offices in the Corridor, received the award for Employer of the Year at the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards of Distinction.
