Central State Bank to acquire Swisher Trust and Savings
Elkader-based Central State Bank said Thursday it would acquire Swisher Trust and Savings next year.
The transaction is subject to approval from regulators and shareholders of Swisher Trust and Savings, Central State said in a statement. It expects to close the deal by the end of this year.
Central State has branches in Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Marquette, McGregor, Walford and two in Elkader.
Swisher Trust will be rebranded once the deal is closed.
