The number 13 wasn't unlucky for the city of Cedar Rapids in the latest overall rankings by WalletHub in its 2018 best-and-worst-run-cities list.
WalletHub, a Washington, D.C., personal-finance website, rated 150 U.S. cities based on 35 metrics in a half-dozen 'quality-of-services” categories - financial stability, education, health, public safety, economy, and infrastructure and pollution.
With an overall score of 62.05 out of 100, Cedar Rapids ranked highly for infrastructure and pollution, at 70; education at 57; and health at 56. The city scored only 14, though, for economy.
Nampa Idaho, was ranked No. 1 in the overall list. Des Moines is listed at No. 54.
