Andy Besser has been named director of operations for American Prosthetics and Orthotics, which has facilities in Iowa City, among other locations.
Euphrasie Lukama was promoted to African Community Program specialist at YPN.
Curran Putney now is first vice president, lending compliance, at Hills Bank at its Hills office.
Elisabeth Kissling has been named executive director of the Marion Independent School Foundation and Alumni Association.

Nyemaster Goode Stephanie Techau has been named 2023 Lawyer of the Year for Workers' Compensation Law in Cedar Rapids by the Best Lawyers in America.
Thompson Truck and Trailer diesel technician Matt Mullis has been recognized as the 2022 Maintenance Professional of the Year by the Iowa Motor Truck Association.
