The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance gave its annual BRAVO Award to the following local businesses: C4 Operations Background Check Services, West Side Transport and Wired Production Group. The alliance also recognized nonprofit organizations Together We Achieve, Families Helping Families of Iowa and Orchestra Iowa.

Dr. Cecilia Rokusek, president and CEO of the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, will receive the Gratias Agit award this month from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for promoting the Czech Republic abroad.

Mediacom recognized Kate Kastli and Amber Leaves of Cedar Rapids, and Sue Findlay of Marion, as employees who achieved the company’s highest rankings for outstanding service during the past year.
