Acquisition: Honkamp Payroll, LLC, a payroll and human capital management company headquartered in Dubuque and with offices in North Liberty, has acquired Smart-HR, a full-service payroll and human capital management companybased in Rochester, Minn.

Acuisition: Cassia announced it has acquired Stoney Point Meadows, the senior living community in southwest Cedar Rapids that Cassia has managed since its inception in 2019. Stoney Point Meadows includes 81 assisted living apartment homes and 14 memory care suites. Cassia, based in Edina, Minn., will continue to manage Villas at Stoney Point—the independent living community on the same campus—which will remain under current ownership.
