New hires
ImOn Communications has hired three key members of its leadership team:
- David Birnbaum, as chief information officer, will lead ImOn’s information technology department, in charge of software development and cybersecurity initiatives; he was formerly chief technology officer for Blue Voyant, a cybersecurity startup.
- Patty Lynott is vice president of customer experience, leading ImOn’s customer care and service delivery departments; she most recently was area vice president of Zayo Group, a communications infrastructure provider.
- Cindy Huber is vice president of marketing, responsible for marketing strategy and ImOn’s brand; she previously held leadership roles at ACT, Collins Aerospace and Fiberutilities Group.
Joe Heitz has joined the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation as vice president of community impact.

Skywalk Group promoted Diana Thomas to recruiting supervisor.
