Small Business of the Week: U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, has announced Timber City Chiropractic of Jackson County in Eastern Iowa as her small business of the week. Dr. Don Schwenker, a Maquoketa native and Air Force and Air National Guard veteran who studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic, opened Timber City Chiropractic with his wife Colleen after recognizing the need for a family chiropractor in their hometown. Timber City Chiropractic offers a full range of chiropractic and acupuncture services, as well as cellular detoxification and hydrotherapy. Additionally, the business is an associated provider for the VA, providing care to veterans across Eastern Iowa. Later this year, Timber City Chiropractic will celebrate its 22nd anniversary. Ernst, chair of the Senate’s Small Business Committee, is naming one exceptional small business of the week in each of Iowa’s counties during this congressional session.
