MERCY RECOMMENDED: Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids has been named as a top recommended hospital in Iowa by Becker’s Hospital Review. The list is based on patients’ Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems. Mercy received a five-star rating, the highest available.
SAVANT LISTED: Savant Wealth Management, with offices in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, has been named to the Inc. 5000 annual list of fastest-growing private companies in America.
AERON DONATIONS: Fairfield-based AERON has donated $85,000 to charities in its six host communities: Fairfield and Mason City in Iowa, Pflugerville, Texas, Pachuca, Mexico, Hong Kong and the Guangdong province of China.

NEW OFFICE: Anderson Bogert Engineers & Surveyors has moved to a new office at a 4050 River Center Ct. NE in Cedar Rapids. Established in 1955, Anderson Bogert provides consulting services to private, non-profit, and public sector clients.
SCORE WORKSHOPS: SCORE in-person workshops for networking and business skills will be held Thursday in Cedar Rapids. The workshop will be presented from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Scott’s Family Restaurant, 1906 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chrome Horse, 1201 Third St. SE.

STARTUP SPEAKER SERIES: Four panelists will be featured at the “Funding 101 for Starting a Business” startup speaker series from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vault Coworking, 415 12th Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids.
Information will be provided on bank loans, no-interest microloans, grant funding and venture capital.
Speakers will be Katilin Byers, capital access manager at Kiva Iowa; Kevin Bradley, director of investor relations at ISA Ventures; Michael Wampler, regional director of Kirkwood Community College Small Business Development Center; and Teresa Jensen, business banking officer at Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust.
