Promotions

Joe McCarragher is the new office leader for RSM US’s Iowa City office.

Now in UFG Insurance's claims department are Lisa Caraway as corporate litigation director, assistant vice president; and Sarah Gorsh, director of claims administration strategy, assistant vice president.

Kudos

Kim Volk, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Mercy Iowa City, was recognized as a Top 100 Women Leaders in Healthcare of 2021 by Women We Admire.

The Mercy Iowa City Hospital Foundation awarded Dr. Luke Brunkhorst, urologist, with the 2021 Partners in Caring Award, recognizing a physician who best supports intra-professional practices, collaboration and support with nurses.

Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller was elected president of the National Association of Attorneys General.
