Money Talk, an online class offered through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, begins a five-week course Feb. 6 and covers financial basics, insurance, retirement planning, investing and planning for life events. The American Advertising Federation Cedar Rapids Iowa City will host its annual wine tasting and silent auction 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ramsey's Metro Market, 1120 Seventh Ave., Marion. Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa is accepting nominations for the 2012 Corridor Business Hall of Fame. Individuals inducted into the Business Hall of Fame are outstanding business leaders who have made legendary contributions to the free enterprise system. The committee will select three elite individuals to be inducted as Laureates and one Young Entrepreneur at an event held in September. MobileDemand, a Hiawatha-based provider of Rugged Tablet PC systems, announced a reseller partnership agreement with Baltimore-based Barcoding Inc., a mobility systems integrator. MobileDemand also announced software certification on one of Barcoding Inc.'s partner offerings, Rutherford and Associates' eoStar route accounting software.
