AWARDS
Iowa Soybean Association's Environmental Programs and Services, in partnership with conservation drainage experts in Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota, was awarded a Conservation Innovation Grant of $358,864 by USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service for the Technology Transfer of Bioreactor Operations and Conservation Drainage Placement.
SEMINARS
Northeast Iowa Community College and Kyle Fitzgerald of Gronen Restoration will offer sustainable deconstruction instruction, Oct. 3 to 14. Sessions, at the NICC Dairy Foundation Education Center near the college's Calmar campus, will consist of two days of classroom training, with the remainder as on-the-job training.
