MidWestOne Financial Group Inc., parent company of MidWestOne Bank, was named to the Sandler O'Neil 2011 Bank & Thrift Sm-All Stars list of the top performing publicly traded small-cap banks and thrifts in the nation. Of the 486 banks and thrifts with a market cap of less than $2 billion, MidWestOne Financial was the only Iowa company chosen.

The annual Marion Builder's and Developer's Forum will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m., Wednesday, at Lowe Park Center, 4500 N. 10th St., Marion. The forum will be sponsored by the Marion Economic Development Co. and the city of Marion. City staff and utility representatives will provide updates on their departments.
