Bella brings Italian flavors to former Blend space

Bella, a full-service Italian restaurant, has opened at 227 2nd Ave. SE., in downtown Cedar Rapids.
Sal Kaba of Fort Worth opened the restaurant in a location that formerly housed Blend. While the interior hasn't changed much, the new operation features a broad menu of Italian pastas, pizzas and subs as well as veal, chicken and other Italian meat and fish dishes.
Prices range from $7.95 lunches to an $18.95 frutta di mare seafood dish.
Catering-take-out, and outdoor patio dining will be offered in addition to full-service indoor dining.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 pm. and 5 to 9 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m., Fridays; and 5 to 10 p.m., Saturdays. Closed Sundays.
