Allegiant starts Sarasota flights
Routes to fly twice a week
Allegiant Air today began a new nonstop route from Cedar Rapids-based Eastern Iowa Airport to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Florida, with some, limited introductory one-way fares as low as $49.
The new route will operate twice a week, the airport said in a news release.

“Allegiant has been a strong partner with CID and the Eastern Iowa region since it first started service here in 2004,” Airport Director Marty Lenss said.
“We appreciate the continued investment Allegiant is making and are excited to launch Allegiant’s eighth nonstop city from CID.”
Allegiant is based in Las Vegas.
