Brett White’s first memories are of the Solon softball and baseball fields, watching the Spartans. He said he even had a playpen at the softball field. White enters his final season as a Spartan, starting since his eighth-grade summer.
Solon’s Kinnick Pusteoska belted four doubles and finished with five hits and six RBIs in two wins over Mount Vernon.
Solon Coach Lucas Stanton recognized the potential for a high-powered offense. The Spartans proved him right with a 63-0 victory over West Liberty to start the prep football season.
