DAVENPORT - The exhibit “Diana: A Celebration” is on display at the Putnam Museum, 1717 W. 12th St., in Davenport until Jan. 5.
On loan from the Spencer family's Althorp estate museum's Althorp estate, the exhibit opened there July 1, 1998, which would have been Diana's 37th birthday. It features nine galleries filled with 150 objects, including designer gowns, home movies, jewels, childhood memorabilia, clothing, condolence books and her wedding dress.
The tour ends in 2014, when the items will go to her sons after Prince Harry turns 30, as directed by her will.
Details about the exhibit were omitted in the Sept. 8 edition of The Gazette. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $7 to $18 and are available at (563) 324-1933 or Putnam.org.
