“And I would say that’s what Burkle and Brahmer bring. A maturity. They know how to practice. They know what it takes to be successful. They’re in it. They’re already professional football players. They’ll be that someday, but they’re already that in our football program,” ISU Coach Matt Campbell said.
Iowa State sophomore tight end Ben Brahmer has been an excellent pass catcher for quite some time, but now he’s eager to deliver bruising blocks alongside his game-changing grabs.
Ben Brahmer’s big numbers have helped define him early in his ISU career. The first-team Freshman All-American by The Athletic broke the program’s true freshman tight records for receptions (28) and receiving yards (352) last season and the best is likely yet to come.
