Woodbury-less East finishes off double-OT upset of top-ranked Ankeny

DES MOINES - Who says Sioux City East is only Adam Woodbury and four other guys?
Leading by a point, the Black Raiders saw their star center foul out with just under three minutes to go in the second overtime of their Class 4A state tournament semifinal Friday afternoon. But East's “other guys” didn't die, finishing off a 60-56 upset of top-ranked Ankeny.
“I've got a lot of respect for my teammates and a lot of faith (in them),” said Woodbury, the 7-foot-1 center headed to Iowa next season. “They all showed it right there, hitting free throws, making plays and playing good defense.”
