ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The 25th-ranked Mount Mercy women's basketball team took a five-game winning streak into the Radisson Roseville Classic, but dropped two games at the Gangelhoff Center on Friday and Saturday.
Host Concordia (Minn.) led by four points at halftime and defeated the Mustangs, 83-72, in Friday's opener. Senior guards Emily Greiner and Micha Mims had four 3-pointers each and led Mount Mercy with 27 and 20 points. Sophomore forward Amanda Frost recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Frost poured in a game-high 21 points and junior guard Brooke Quigley chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds. Mims also had seven boards and Koch collected six.
